A regular rating of the world university according to rating of presence in Webometrics Ranking Web of Universities network as of January, 17 is made public. Igor Sikorsky KPI became an Institutional Member of the EPMA - The European Association for Predictive, Preventive & Personalised Medicine.
The day before the start of new academic year, according to the order of Minister of Education and Science, Lilia Hrynevych, dated August, 17, 2016 № 922 to grant National technical university of Ukraine «Kyiv politechnic institute” with the name, our university was named in tribute to the former student , outstanding aircraft designer of XX century Igor Ivanovych Sikorsky.
Thus, it's full name from now on is National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Politechnic Institute" (short form - Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute).

National technical university “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv polytechnic institute” was granted a reward “Leader of Ukrainian science 2016. Web of Science award” in the nomination of “Science and innovations” by Ministry of Education and Science and “Clarivate Analytics” company (former subdivision for scientific property and science “Thomson Reuters”) and National Academy of Science.
