At the invitation of the management of Biopharma Plasma LLC, a group of employees of the Biomedical Engineering Faculty has visited the company’s production facilities in Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region. Faculty teachers Alexander Galkin, Tetiana Lutsenko, Olena Golembiovska, Valentina Motronenko and Oleksandr Besarab have participated in the discussion of issues of cooperation between the faculty and the leader of the Ukrainian pharmaceutical business in the production of blood products and biotechnological products.
Among other things, the following issues that are promising for cooperation between the university and the company were discussed:
- Dual education: students simultaneously study at the university and work in the company;
- Innovations in biopharmaceutics: development of the innovative pharmaceutical products and strategies for ensuring the safety of drugs of biological (biotechnological) origin.
Based on the results of the meeting and negotiations, the signing of a cooperation agreement between Biopharma Plasma LLC and the Igor Sikorsky KPI has been initiated.
