Admission to the 1st year of bachelor’s degree for foreign citizens is subject to the following conditions:
- complete general secondary education;
- successful completion of the entrance examination (interview)
- an invitation from the university to study.
Invitations to study are issued throughout the year. The deadline for submitting documents is from 1 July to 15 October. The start of studies is from 1 September.
List of documents that applicants personally or by post submit to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in paper form:
- application;
- a document (original and copy) on the previously obtained educational (educational qualification) level, on the basis of which admission is made (during the first semester of study, its nostrification is carried out);
- an appendix (original and copy) to the document on the previously obtained educational (educational qualification) level on the basis of which the admission is made;
- a copy of a foreigner’s passport or a document certifying a stateless person;
- health insurance policy, unless otherwise provided by international treaties of Ukraine;
- six photographs 35 x 45 mm in size (colour, matte).
The documents referred to in subparagraphs 2, 3 must be certified in the country of their issue in the manner officially used in that country for such certification and legalised by the relevant foreign institution of Ukraine, unless otherwise provided by international agreements of Ukraine.
Nostrification of these documents is carried out during the first semester of study. The documents referred to in subparagraphs 2, 3, 4 must be translated into Ukrainian with a notarised translation in 2 copies each.
Entrance exams
The entrance exams are held from 1 July to 30 September. Entrance examinations for admission to the 1st year are held from Engineering majors:
Mathematics
Physics
(or chemistry, or biology)
Ukrainian
(or English) language
Foreign nationals who have received a certificate of complete secondary education in Ukraine and a certificate of completion of the national multi-subject test in the relevant subjects have the right to enter the first year of all forms of study without an interview on a competitive basis and on the basis of a signed agreement.
