The Biomedical Engineering Faculty, founded in 2002, became the first faculty in Ukraine focused on biomedical engineering and technologies education, and still remains the best, as evidenced by the “Forbes Ukraine” rating “100 best faculties of Ukraine” (the best faculty of Ukraine in the nomination “Medicine”).

The Biomedical Engineering Faculty offers the following educational and scientific activity areas:

• medical (clinical) engineering & biomedical electronics;
• regenerative medicine technologies & biopharmaceutical engineering;
• physical therapy (rehabilitation), occupational therapy, prosthetics;
• biomedical cybernetics (information technologies, artificial intelligence);
• health promotion & sports technologies.
