| October 2024 | At the invitation of the management of Biopharma Plasma LLC, a group of employees of the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering visited the production facilities of the company in Bila Tserkva. The discussion of cooperation issues between the faculty and the leader of the Ukrainian pharmaceutical business in the production of blood products and biotechnological products was attended by faculty teachers – Oleksandr Galkin, Tetyana Lutsenko, Olena Golembiovska, Valentina Motronenko and Oleksandr Besarab. Among other things, the following issues were discussed that are promising for cooperation between the university and the company:- Dual education: applicants simultaneously study at the university and work in the company;- Innovations in biopharmacy: development of new pharmaceutical products and strategies for ensuring the safety of drugs of biological (biotechnological) origin.As a result of the meeting and negotiations, a cooperation agreement was initiated between Biopharma Plasma LLC and Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. |

From Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, the meeting was attended by Oleksandr Galkin, Oksana Biloshitska, Tetyana Lutsenko and Olena Golembiovska with Ph.D. in Biology Hanna Shchetynina, Chief Specialist for Project Management and International Cooperation of the Center for Public Health of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, who held a constructive dialogue on developing areas and mechanisms for cooperation. |

We got acquainted with the production facilities of Farmak. In particular, with a workshop for the aseptic production of medicinal products in ampoules, vials and nebulae. Among the products of this platform are anesthetic drugs, antithrombotic drugs, painkillers, for the treatment of respiratory tract diseases, etc. They also visited the production laboratory, where they were able to see in practice how the control of finished medicines takes place. |
